Hhmm... It's been over two years since I've posted on this blog. Truthfully, I've surprised myself tonight that I'm sitting on my couch writing this now. I couldn't even remember my blog address or the password to login. Do you even want to know how stupid I felt when I couldn't figure out how to create a heading.) It most definitely was not on the radar. In fact until about 20 minutes ago, it hadn't even crossed my mind. However, I'm pleasantly surprised how after familiarizing myself with my last couple of posts from years ago, I've safely and happily reached my light at the end of the tunnel.
As we are all familiar with life, there are highs and there are lows. Right now I have reached a calm and steady plateau that I hope to ride out as long as nature will permit.
Of course to summarize the 2 year gap in one short blog would under value most everything, I'll include you in the biggest change in two years:
I mean this in the most loving way possible.
To be totally honest, I think she's magical. She's the most happy, smiling, cheerful child on the planet. She's my little clown and everyone who comes in contact with her is equally enamored. At the age of 1 she already knows how to flirt and look cute doing it... Hence the reason she will kill me or age me way beyond my years.
But having two beautiful and loving children makes up for the fact that I am damn near exhausted to death everyday, but I'm working on trying to find that happy place between sneaking into their beds at night to snuggle them and trying to hold back tears because they've stressed me the f*** out.
Anyway, I'm excited to start writing again. Last time I wasn't quite sure where this blog was headed or which direction life was leading me. Although it won't be the same, how can it be since I've moved forward from that time in my life. I tossed around the idea of starting over a blog from scratch but don't feel the need to restart or start a new blog. Our past and our choices are what have made us into the people we are.
